Microsoft

Japanese Microsoft(マイクロソフト)

Microsoft is a US software company that makes Windows, Microsoft 365 and Copilot. It is one of the partners in Anthropic's Project Glasswing.

Microsoft is a US software company that makes Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure (cloud services) and Copilot (an AI assistant). Think of it as the landlord of the document and email tools many offices use every day. In this site's articles it appears as one of the companies taking part in Anthropic's Project Glasswing, which uses AI to find and fix weak spots (vulnerabilities) in important software before attackers do. The Glasswing page also lists Microsoft Foundry as one place where the AI model can be reached.

Watch out If you run Windows or Microsoft 365, you will meet this name often. Seeing it in an article does not mean your own computer is in trouble. The simplest preparation is to install Windows and Microsoft 365 security updates as soon as they arrive instead of putting them off.
