Context window
Japanese コンテキストウィンドウ
The most text an AI model can work with at one time. Your question and the AI's answer both count toward it.
A context window is like the size of the AI's desk. A bigger desk lets it spread out more material at once, but anything that does not fit cannot be put on it. The limit is counted in tokens, not letters. Your question, any documents you attach, and the AI's own answer all share the same space.
Watch out A larger limit does not always mean better answers, because putting in more can make the AI less accurate. When you hand over a long document, pick the parts that matter, and remember that an answer can be cut off if the limit is passed.
