AI agent (an AI that carries out several steps on its own)
Japanese AIエージェント
An AI agent is an AI that, given a goal, decides its own steps and uses tools to carry them out. Because it can act for you, it matters to set how much you let it do.
An AI agent works a bit like a staff member you hand a job to. An ordinary chatbot answers one question and stops. An agent takes a goal, decides the order of steps itself, uses tools such as search or opening files, and keeps going until the job is done. A large language model makes the decisions behind the scenes.
Watch out Because it acts on its own, a wrong decision can also be carried out. When you connect email, a drive or API keys, open only the range it needs, and keep a human check before payments, sending or deleting. Start with tasks you can undo, such as research or a first draft.
