"Market price" on a menu makes people walk past the door.
At a seafood restaurant, it's often not the food that makes you hesitate. It's the two words "market price." If you don't know what the bill will be, you move on before you even find out whether the place is any good.
So this article starts with what PHPFree does and doesn't do, the price and the timeline. All prices are in US dollars. If you read it and decide it isn't a fit for your website, that's a good outcome too.
Why do we show the scope and price first?
Because you can't judge whether a service is any good until you know what it costs and where it stops. That's why PHPFree is a flat price for sites of up to 10 pages, and why we list the cases where the price changes.
People tend to prefer risks they can size over risks they can't. Psychologists call this ambiguity aversion.1 Not knowing what a quote will come to is exactly that kind of unknown. Showing the numbers first is how we make the decision easier.
- What we do: move a website of up to 10 pages to a setup that doesn't run PHP
- Price: migration package $1,000, care plan $100 a month
- Timeline: live as soon as the next business day, when the conditions are met
- What we don't take on: moving member logins, online stores or booking systems as they are
Four points on one card. Each one is explained below.
All prices are in US dollars and exclude tax. The exact conditions for your site are settled together in a consultation.

Jeensuk's takeWe show the price first not because we're the cheapest, but so you can compare.
What's included in the $1,000 migration package?
We convert your WordPress site of up to 10 pages into a static site that doesn't run PHP, and include the contact form, SSL, the domain switch, a before-and-after report and a 30-day fix guarantee after launch. The price is $1,000.
| Included | What it means |
|---|---|
| Move to a setup without PHP | We rebuild your current site with the same look and text (up to 10 pages) |
| 1 contact form | We move the contact form you use today |
| SSL | Your address opens with https |
| Domain (DNS) switch | You keep your domain; we point it to the new site |
| Before-and-after report | Screens from before and after the move, side by side |
| 30-day fix guarantee | We fix problems that come up in the 30 days after launch |
From the 11th page on, each page adds $50, and moving blog posts adds $100 per 20 posts (before tax). For a very large blog, we quote converting all the posts in one go. Nothing is added without your yes.

Jeensuk's take"It turned out to cost extra" is the sentence nobody wants to hear. Anything that can be added gets named before we start.
What don't we do, and which websites don't we take on?
We don't move features that run programs inside the site, such as member logins, online stores or booking systems, as they are. We don't touch your email settings. And if your site doesn't need to move, we'll tell you not to move it.
- Features we don't move as they are: member areas where visitors log in or save what they enter, online stores and booking systems. For sites like these, we first work out together what's possible and suggest another way.
- What we leave alone: you keep your domain, and we don't change your email settings.
- Moves we don't recommend: if your host has already applied the October 2026 PHP fixes, most sites don't need to move for that issue alone. Moving is for owners who want to stop dealing with PHP updates and end-of-support dates for good.
- Checks we don't run: the 30-second check only looks at what your site shows when it's opened normally. It doesn't attack or penetration-test anything.2
If your website is fine without moving, we'll tell you so plainly. We don't recommend work you don't need. — The PHPFree promise

Jeensuk's takeTurning down work that isn't a fit is the first step to doing the work we take on well.
How long does it take to go live, and what are the steps?
When the conditions are met, your new site can go live the next business day. There are five steps: free check and consultation, sign-up and materials, the migration, your review of the before-and-after report, and launch.
Next-business-day launch has four conditions: the site has 10 pages or fewer, the text and photos stay as they are, you give us access to manage the domain (DNS), and you sign up early in our business day. We're based in Japan, so we'll confirm the cutoff for your time zone. If you're not sure who holds your domain access, start with "The five website keys every business owner should hold".
| Step | What happens | Who |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Free check and consultation | We tell you honestly how your site uses PHP and whether it needs to move | You → ATATAKAI Digital |
| 2 Sign-up and materials | You prepare the list of pages to move and access to manage the domain (DNS) | You |
| 3 Migration | We rebuild your site's look and text without PHP and move the contact form | ATATAKAI Digital |
| 4 Review | You check the before-and-after report; anything that bothers you gets fixed here | Together |
| 5 Launch | We switch the domain and go live. Your current site keeps running until then | ATATAKAI Digital |

Jeensuk's takeYour current site stays up until launch. The store stays open while you move.
What do we handle after launch, and what's separate?
The care plan, at $100 a month ($1,000 a year if you pay annually), covers server, SSL and uptime monitoring, a monthly backup, and two change requests a month. Anything beyond that, such as a break-in check, has its own price in the table below.
| Item | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Care plan | $100 a month ($1,000 a year paid annually) | Server, SSL and uptime monitoring; a monthly backup; 2 change requests a month by email (up to 30 minutes each) |
| 30-second check | Free | Whether your site uses PHP and what kind of server it's on, from public information only |
| Break-in check | $298 | We check for suspicious files, added admin accounts and the like, and give you a report. If you then sign up for the migration, the full amount goes toward it |
| Expert security monitoring | $365 a year | 12 months free if you sign up by December 31, 2026 |
| Self-editing option, search and AI search advice | Consultation | For editing text and photos yourself, or tidying up your site for search and AI search |
On the care plan, we make the changes for you. If you'd rather edit text yourself, ask about the self-editing option.

Jeensuk's takeWe don't promise "fully automatic." We promise, in numbers, what we do, how often and how fast.
How should I compare the cost of converting WordPress to a static site?
Look at the total over several years, not a single quote. On our side, three years comes to $4,000 before tax: the $1,000 migration plus three years of the care plan paid annually ($1,000 a year).
What it costs to keep your current site running varies by company, and so does the bill for a WordPress maintenance plan. Whatever you pay now, put it side by side over the same three years. If you stay on PHP, the same work comes back every time a version reaches end of support. Security support for PHP 8.2 ends on December 31, 2026.3

Jeensuk's takeRather than choosing on price alone, look at what you'd be handing off and what you'd no longer have to carry.
Frequently asked questions about PHPFree's scope, timeline and price
Can you take a site with more than 10 pages?
Yes. From the 11th page on, each page adds $50 (before tax), and the site no longer qualifies for next-business-day launch.
Can I still edit the text myself after the move?
By default, we make changes for you on the care plan. If you want to edit yourself, you can choose the self-editing option in the consultation.
If my host already fixed PHP, do I need to move?
For the October 2026 issue alone, most sites don't. Moving is a choice for owners who want to stop dealing with PHP updates and end-of-support dates from now on.
